6th Grade Math
Last week, the week of the 18th, the sixth grade worked on a problem in math called Land Sections. Below are some examples of the diagrams we made in partnerships when trying to figure out the fraction of land each person owned. Each section was one square mile, 640 acres. One of the strategies was to measure each person's land in thirty- seconds or Krebs. Another strategy was to measure with other people's sections of land. Sage and Malcolm did the first strategy and Henry did the second strategy.
